What you need
Each broker asks for slightly different details: usually an API key and secret from the broker's developer or API page, and for some brokers your client ID, a PIN and a TOTP secret. Each broker's page lists exactly what it asks for.
A TOTP secret is the setup key from your authenticator (letters and digits, often shown as "Can't scan the QR code?"), not the 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.
Where you enter it
Only inside your own signed-in ConnectBridge account. We never ask for broker details, OTPs, passwords, TPIN or UPI PIN over a call, WhatsApp or email. Anyone who does is not us.
How it is kept
Your API secret, PIN or password, TOTP secret and session token are stored encrypted, and used only to send your orders to your broker. You can disconnect at any time.
Then
- Whitelist your ConnectBridge server's static IP with your broker, where it asks for one.
- Set your Trading Risk Profile: every protection is off until you switch it on.
- Start today's session when you are ready.
